Zerona’s low-level laser stimulates fat cells until fat liquefies within the cell. Once broken down and liquefied, fat moves out of the cell and drains naturally during the detoxification process. With excess fat removed, each cell shrinks and treated areas dramatically decrease in size and fat content. Removing excess fat from cells has even been shown to reduce cholesterol levels.

How long will it take?
We schedule you for six to twelve sessions depending on your overall body slimming goals. Ideally, we schedule sessions every other day until you have reached your desired size and shape. This short-term time commitment is minimal considering that each session takes only 40 minutes and you will leave the office feeling just like when you came in. There is absolutely no downtime after Zerona laser treatment. You can schedule visits during your lunch hour and resume normal daily activities immediately following your appointment.
Are there any risks?
There are no risks associated with Zerona’s FDA approved form of low-level laser therapy. It is considered a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as liposuction and other non-invasive procedures that heat tissue to potentially harmful levels. Zerona laser treatment will not cause any bruising or skin discoloration. Women who are pregnant and people with pacemakers are the only candidates not recommended for Zerona laser treatment.
